Over the past couple years, we have had a growing number of questions about the tools our team uses to brand, design, and manage the Empower Network Support Blog.
…then today is your lucky day :)
Empower Network Support Blog Toolbox
These 7 tools help us promote this blog, design & brand it, and engage with YOU.
Be sure to let us know in the comments if YOU use any of these tools, too :-)
Let’s be frank here – We couldn’t do what we do without this incredible platform that this blog is hosted on.
Whether you’re running a business website or a personal blog, Kalatu Premium is a perfect choice because it enables you to do what other blogging platforms can’t.
Between the extra Premium-only themes and plugins, to 7-Minute Blog Hack training courses and the Kalatu Resource Library, Kalatu Premium eliminates so much legwork. That allows us to focus on creating valuable content for you, our readers.
Just click the link below to learn more about Kalatu Premium can do for you!
SnagIt Editor is a screenshare & screenshot editing program created by TechSmith (that’s right, the same company that brings you the free, easy-to-use Jing program).
SnagIt makes it SEAMLESS to “mark up” screenshots, record screencasts, and edit images.
For us, this program makes it fast and easy to explain anything using screenshots and videos.
Any screenshots you see in our blog posts with arrows, explanations, etc. were created with SnagIt.
Disqus is the comment option that we use on the Empower Network Support Blog.
(You can see it by scrolling down to the bottom of this post and saying hi!)
Disqus comments combine the social power of Facebook, Google, and Twitter. Commentators can login using any of those profiles’ logins, or use a Disqus login.
We love that Disqus has a wonderful backend system to help easily manage comments and settings. There are too many perks to keep up with, but you can learn more by clicking the link below!
You probably already knew this one was coming (or you’ve been hiding under a rock)…
We LOVE Canva.
This program allows users to easily create beautiful images, infographics, documents, social media profile branding, and other designs.
Canva applies drag-and-drop technology to make this (by far) the easiest design software we have ever used.
All of our featured images, as of just over a year ago, are designed with Canva.
Oh yeah…did we mention we LOVE Canva?
Google Analytics is a website traffic analyzer that EVERY website owner or blogger should be familiar with.
The information Google Analytics delivers you is abundant and detailed…and the entire program is FREE.
You can track where your audience is coming to your blog from, your audience demographics, set goals to track sales and conversions, and SO much more!

CoSchedule Headline Analyzer
So this is a handy free tool that we have been using to write better blog post headlines.
Headlines are important – In today’s society, we judge whether an article is worth our time just by reading the title (and sometimes, only a few WORDS of that title). It’s important to make your headlines “juicy” and interesting, so more of your audience actually clicks them.
This online tool lets you plug in a headline, and it spits out a score (1-100) for the headline.
It breaks down the key elements in the headline, like word balance (common vs. uncommon words, power words, emotional words), headline type (question, list, etc), character count, word count, headline sentiment, and more!
By getting these results, we can make adjustments to the format and words in our headline to improve different areas.
Finally, we have Buffer.
Buffer is a social media automation service that we employ to schedule our glorious content to be posted all over social media networks.
Using Buffer is super easy, compared to other automation services we have used in the past, and allows us to schedule content to be shared across multiple social channels.
With the time we save using Buffer, we can focus more on brainstorming and creating new content for the Support Blog, answering questions from our customers and affiliates, and engaging with you on social media!
We’re pretty proud of how far we’ve come here at the Empower Network Support Blog. And we couldn’t have gotten very far without the help from these tools.
